WHY?
We are living through one of the hardest moments in recent history, and how we face the way out of this crisis will shape our future. The government’s priority must be to protect the most vulnerable people and our future.
In 2008, governments chose to save polluting banks and industries over people or the environment. No conditions have been placed on the huge amounts of money from that bailout. We cannot make the same mistake in this crisis. We need an economy that works for everyone, and also for the planet.
